Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 Weeks

• Schedule: Day Shift | 5 days per week

• Shift Timing: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Hours: 40 hours per week

• Department: Adult Emergency Services

Compensation Package

• Gross Weekly Pay: $3,130

• W2 Rate: $20/hour

• Weekly Stipend: $2,380

Position Overview

A healthcare facility in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Adult) to join its fast-paced emergency services team. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients requiring urgent and emergent medical attention.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and triage adult ER patients.

• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments as ordered.

• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy with accuracy and efficiency.

• Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely emergency care.

• Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes in clinical status.

• Accurately document patient care, assessments, and interventions.

• Maintain compliance with emergency department protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License

• Minimum 2 years of recent Adult Emergency Room experience

• Strong IV insertion and phlebotomy skills

• Experience with conscious sedation

• AHA Certifications Required:

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • PALS
