Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply paint and coatings to various products, including large mechanical parts, using hand sprayers and brushes according to MIL-SPEC requirements
  • Mix paints and coatings to meet specified color and finish requirements.
  • Clean, mask, and prepare parts for sandblast treatment
  • Monitor and maintain paint and supply inventories.
  • Maintain daily painting logs and complete all required documentation accurately.
  • Safely move parts in and out of paint booths using forklifts.
  • Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment, including cleaning sprayers and brushes and replacing filters.
  • Support a culture of safety by following all safety procedures and keeping the work area clean and organized.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years’ related experience; previous auto body experience preferred
  • Must have prior experience masking and preparing items for painting
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with other departments
  • Ability to read technical documents
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
