Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our diner team! As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the restaurants operational performance during your shift. You will supervise staff and assign duties to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a minimum of five years of restaurant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Train and manage employees and assign duties as needed
- Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
- Resolve customer complaints gracefully and with tact
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels, reorder and restock when necessary
- Cover the shifts of absent employees
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must have OPEN AVAILIBILITY
- Must have 5 years minimum restaurant cooking experience
- Management experience is preferred
- Ability to cross train- willing to work as server
