Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Vernon, Connecticut.

Shift: Nights 7p-730a, EOW, EOH. 36 or 48 hr contract.

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required, caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients.

Current Connecticut RN license (or compact), BLS(AHA), ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required. TNCC and CPI/NCI (or equivalent de-escalation training) preferred. Previous EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Previous travel experience is preferred but not required.

Must be able to function independently after a brief orientation and be comfortable managing a broad range of emergency presentations, including medical, behavioral health, and critical care patients.

Competency with IV insertion, cardiac monitoring, procedural sedation support, stroke and sepsis care, and emergency stabilization required.

Experience with Alaris pumps and standard ED equipment preferred. Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday.
