Part-Time | 90-Day Temporary Assignment
Location: Richmond, CA

Pay Rate: $30/HR
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m; Saturdays are as needed


Position Summary

Our client is seeking an organized, outgoing, and resourceful People Operations & Recruiting Specialist for a 90-day temporary assignment. This hands-on role will focus heavily on recruiting while also supporting onboarding, employee records, compliance, and general People Operations.

The ideal candidate is comfortable sourcing and interviewing candidates, using social media for recruiting, attending hiring events, and maintaining consistent candidate communication.


Key Responsibilities

  • Actively source and recruit candidates for driver, operations, administrative, and other positions.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial interviews, schedule interviews, and maintain candidate communication.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines and identify new recruiting sources.
  • Support job fairs, hiring events, open houses, and community recruiting initiatives.
  • Create and maintain AP3's LinkedIn recruiting presence and post job opportunities and recruiting content.
  • Assist with new-hire onboarding, orientation, and employment documentation.
  • Maintain organized personnel and compliance files, including supporting DOT and Drug & Alcohol documentation as assigned.
  • Perform HRIS data entry and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Maintain recruiting trackers, candidate lists, interview schedules, and hiring documentation.
  • Support special People Operations and recruiting projects as assigned by the CEO.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee, applicant, and company information.


Qualifications

  • Previous recruiting, HR, People Operations, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence interviewing candidates.
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn, social media, and online recruiting platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain confidential information.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, HR technology, and recruiting platforms.
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays for recruiting, hiring, or onboarding activities.
  • HR or recruiting experience is helpful but not required for candidates with strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills.
