We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.
The Patient Care Coordinator holds a pivotal role in managing both patient care and administrative tasks.
Their primary objective is to ensure that patients receive exemplary support and assistance throughout their healthcare journey.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage office calendars.
- Maintain accurate client records and case files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation for workers' compensation cases.
- Draft and send letters, emails, and other forms of communication to clients, insurance providers, and medical professionals.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, assessments, and evaluations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including answering questions about the process, scheduling evaluations, and providing updates.
- Support clients through the completion of necessary forms, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A college degree is preferred.
- Previous administrative experience in a healthcare or psychological practice is preferred, especially within workers' compensation.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation terminology and processes is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and courteous demeanor, with an emphasis on client confidentiality and respect.
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Typical office hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Punctuality and efficiency paired with empathy and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
