Zuzu is seeking a polished, knowledgeable, and hospitality driven Cocktail Server to join our front of house team. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional guest experience by providing attentive, elevated, and personalized service that reflects the standards of our upscale dining environment.
The Cocktail Server will guide guests through the menu with confidence, demonstrate a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings, and maintain the highest level of professionalism and service etiquette. This position works closely with the entire FOH team to ensure seamless service, guest satisfaction, and the overall success of each service period.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\tInteract with guests take orders and drinks
\tTake drink orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences
\tMix and serve a diverse range of cocktails with precision and creativity
\tEnsure timely and accurate delivery of drinks to tables
\tEngage with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
\tCollaborate with the bar and kitchen staff to maintain a seamless flow of service
\tUpsell additional menu items and promotions
\tMaintain cleanliness and organization in the serving area
QUALIFICATIONS
\tProven experience as a Cocktail Server or similar role in a restaurant setting
\tExtensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and mixology techniques
\tExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
\tAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
\tPositive attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
\tBasic math skills for processing orders and handling payments
\tTIPS or similar certification is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is regularly required to stand, reach, bend, walk up and down stairs and lift heavy objects up to 25 lbs. The noise level in the work environment is typically high.

\tManual Dexterity: Skill in handling cooking tools and equipment with precision, including chopping, stirring, and plating.
\tGood Hand-Eye Coordination: Coordination for tasks like food preparation, arranging dishes, and managing multiple kitchen activities simultaneously.
\tTolerance to Heat and Moisture: Comfort working in hot, steamy kitchen environments with exposure to high temperatures from stoves, ovens, and dishwashers.
