Job DescriptionFAA Production Assembler II
Location: Oro Valley, AZ
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 5AM–8AM start time; OT as needed)
Pay: $18/hr
Job Summary
The FAA Production Assembler II is responsible for performing assembly, disassembly, rework, and basic testing of electrical/electronic components. This role supports production in a clean, safety-focused environment and requires strong attention to detail, soldering skills, and the ability to follow established procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Perform complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations following written instructions, diagrams, and specifications.

Use electric soldering equipment to IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standards.

Cut, prep, and pre-tin wires; prepare batteries; apply conformal coating, adhesives, and markings.

Conduct self-inspection and peer inspection to ensure accuracy and compliance with drawings.

Keep work area clean and organized, following 6S standards.

Assist other departments with tasks, training, and production needs.

Maintain reliable attendance and adhere to all company safety guidelines and policies.

Complete additional duties as assigned by the Lead Technician or Supervisor.
QualificationsEducation
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in an electronics or manufacturing environment
OR completed OJT training for at least 5 products.
Skills & Requirements

Ability to read and understand instructions, drawings, and safety documents in English.

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, soldering tools, and inspection equipment.

Strong manual dexterity for working with small parts.

Basic knowledge of MS Office.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and any shift as needed.
