Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
\n\nResponsibilities\n

- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing total joint replacement, spinal surgery, urology procedures, and abdominal surgeries.
- Manage patient care flow, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6 during night shifts.
- Implement and oversee early ambulation and post-operative care protocols.
- Coordinate with charge nurses and patient care techs to ensure optimal patient support and care delivery.
- Float to medical and telemetry units as needed, with support in those areas.
- Perform bedside shift reports and adhere to EPIC charting protocols.

\n\nQualifications\n

- Current BLS certification is required.
- Prefer surgical experience with post-operative and early ambulation skills.
- Experience with hemo hemovacs, Jp drains, colostomies, and medical overflow patients.
- Ability to handle occasional heparin drips, PCA pumps, and TPN.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting systems and acute care settings.
- Willingness to float and assist in various units, maintaining open communication.
