Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid and active Minnesota Special Education teaching license required
- Background in working with students in elementary, middle, or high school
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and student-centered teaching strategies
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Adaptable, patient, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment
- Previous experience in a school-based special education setting is preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
- Adapt instructional materials and methods to ensure accessibility for diverse learners
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Engage families and caregivers as partners in the educational process
- Track and report student progress, making adjustments to goals and strategies as appropriate
- Foster an inclusive classroom culture that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth
