Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer (Process) to join our team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing control systems for various processes within the food packaging industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, and a commitment to ensuring quality and efficiency in all operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for process automation.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
  • Install and commission control systems and related equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades of control systems.
  • Implement best practices for control system design and operation.
  • Provide technical support and training to operational staff.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Controls Engineer, preferably in the food packaging sector.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with BMS and Ignition systems is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
