Psychiatry Opening in Olean, NY70 miles south of BuffaloAdult Psychiatrist- Inpatient Unit

Seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist for IP Behavior Health Unit
Team is comprised of 2 MD and 1 APP, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Nursing Assistants/Safety Assistants
Locum/Per Diem Weekend Coverage
14-Bed Locked Inpatient Unit
Daily group therapy and individual sessions
Experienced discharge planning staff

Clinical Responsibilities

Attending Psychiatrist to round daily on patients, admit and discharge to behavior health unit.
Supervise APP's with occasional student rotations.
Call is 1 week per month.
Duties include direct in-patient consultation services and emergency room patient consults in conjunction with the mental health team.

Package

Qualifications

Medical degree from an accredited university.
A valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number.
Board certified in Psychiatry and completed residency in an ACGME accredited Psychiatry residency program.
