Make a powerful difference in young learners’ lives while enjoying a balanced schedule! This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in early childhood and elementary school settings. From late August to early June, you’ll collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to each student’s growth.

This part-time position (14-21 hours per week) focuses on services for children in PreK through second grade. The caseload features students primarily identified with Speech-Language Impairment (SLI) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with additional needs related to articulation. You’ll also have the chance to support students who use AAC devices, assisted by ongoing access to AAC training and a skilled SLPA who contributes significantly to direct service hours.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience working with PreK–2nd grade students preferred
  • Familiarity with SLI, ASD, articulation, and AAC device implementation
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services as outlined in IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and complete documentation, including new referral testing as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Support students who utilize AAC with training and collaborative problem-solving
  • Work closely with the SLPA to coordinate services and manage caseload demands
  • Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions

This rewarding role allows you to form lasting, positive relationships with students and staff—while maintaining a flexible, part-time schedule over the school year. If you’re passionate about making communication accessible for every child and eager to work in a dynamic educational community, we encourage you to apply today!

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.92 to $60.92. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
