We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, processing shipping and receiving transactions, preparing bills of lading, and utilizing NetSuite ERP software. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate movement of materials, inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Generate and review Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and transaction entries within NetSuite.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and customer service departments to ensure timely shipments.
• Organize warehouse inventory and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and shipping regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Previous forklift experience required; certification preferred.
• Experience preparing and processing Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Working knowledge of NetSuite ERP software required.
• Strong inventory control and warehouse organization skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with freight carriers, shipping systems, and logistics coordination.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
