NEOSTEK, Inc. is seeking a RIM Consultant SME to support a federal government contract focused on modernizing and automating records and information management systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Records and Information Management, particularly in implementing Microsoft Purview/Records Management solutions. This role involves strategic consulting, program assessments, and policy development to enhance electronic records management (ERM) capabilities and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with the client on strategic improvements to RIM programs, conduct comprehensive assessments, and provide actionable optimization recommendations.
- Implements successful strategies for enhancing records classification, retention policies, and overall program efficiency.
- Develops and implements records management policies aligned with regulations, industry standards, and the client’s needs.
- Educates stakeholders on the importance of effective RIM practices and their impact on the client’s efficiency and compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of RIM consulting experience, with a strong focus on implementing Microsoft Purview/Records Management solutions.
- Proven track record of developing and executing RIM strategies in complex organizational environments.
- Deep understanding of federal records management regulations (e.g., NARA, OMB, FOIA).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Must be available to work on-site in Washington, DC at least 50% of the time.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the government contract.
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience working with federal agencies or in public sector environments.
- Certifications such as CRM (Certified Records Manager) or IGP (Information Governance Professional).
- Familiarity with additional Microsoft 365 compliance tools and data governance frameworks.
