Job Duties:
- Provide individual and group counseling to clients facing various mental health challenges.
- Ability to work with children and families a plus.
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulations.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a mental health counselor in New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and care.
- Spanish/French speaking a plus.
