Plumbing Technician Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoots customer plumbing issues and recommends appropriate corrective action.
• Educates the customer on the identified problem, required resolution, and preventative maintenance.
• Collaborates with the Service Manager and other team members.
• Utilize provided software along with tablet, and smartphone to track job information, and communicate with customers.
• Ensures required safety precautions are implemented prior to starting work; tags equipment out of service as needed.
• Maintains equipment, tools, and service vehicle.
• Completes digital time and materials tickets.
• Documents repairs before and after work is performed.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years’ experience in residential or commercial (or both) plumbing service calls
• Journeyman license preferred.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot and prioritize plumbing issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in use of job site technology (e.g.- tablets, laptops, phone apps, etc.)
