Job Description Accounts Receivable Specialist We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing high-volume accounts receivable processes. The position offers competitive hourly pay and the opportunity for permanent placement based on performance. This position is temp to hire with a pay range between $21/hr. and $26/hr. depending on experience. Responsibilities
- Generate and send out invoices to customers
- Process daily cash receipts including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and lockbox transactions
- Accurately apply payments to customer accounts in the ERP system
- Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain accurate aging reports and assist with month-end close activities
- Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding payment issues and account status
- Support audit requests and maintain proper documentation for compliance
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or cash application
- Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
