Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Skilled in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
- Ability to float across different ICU units within scope and acuity levels
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU (MICU), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, or NCCU
- Additional certifications or specialized training in critical care nursing
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability in dynamic settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- At least 2 years of ICU experience, with diverse unit exposure preferred
Other Requirements:
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule (19:00 - 07:30)
- Must be comfortable with floating between ICU units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Willingness to work weekends as needed based on staffing and unit needs
