A nursing opportunity is available for an experienced RN with Stepdown or PCU background to provide high-quality care in a dedicated healthcare setting. This contract role offers a focused environment where your specialized skills in patient care will be essential to positive patient outcomes. Ideal candidates bring at least two years of experience in Progressive Care Unit or Stepdown nursing and hold the required licensure.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU or Stepdown nursing
- Current PA or compact nursing license
- Certification in ACLS and BLS required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
- Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend
- First-time stepdown nurses are encouraged to apply
- Must be located outside a 50-mile radius from the assignment location
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts: 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Nights are scheduled consecutively within the same week
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown unit
- Monitor patients conditions closely using specialized skills and clinical judgment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS skills effectively in emergency situations
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and communicate effectively with team members
