We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join us at our headquarters in Kansas City. You will join a team of CSRs and conduct billing and order management activities in support of our KC, Springfield, and Omaha area teams. Our company installs and services loading dock levelers and doors in warehouses, production facilities, and retail buildings across four states. As our economy shifts toward delivering every type of product you can imagine right to your door, warehouses need to be closer and closer to customers. This has meant an enormous increase in warehouses in our area, and each warehouse needs an array of loading docks to be installed and serviced. We're keeping up with this growth by adding field technicians and an additional CSR. All are welcome to apply, but we highly value experience at companies in B2B services.
Responsibilities:
- Processing work orders
- Ordering parts from vendors
- Billing customers
- Taking service calls
- Responding to customer requests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
