MA needed for busy Pediatric Practice. This is a full time (40 hours per week) position with some Saturday’s. We are open 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday and Saturday 8-12p.
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of MA experience preferred, but will train the right individual..
• MA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Adhere to strict confidentiality agreement.
Duties:
• Essential MA functions: Rooming patients, taking vitals, adjusting to clinic flow, intake, etc.
• Using our EHR (EPIC)
• Administering immunizations and injections
• Phone calls with prior auths/referrals, prescriptions, lab or test results, patient needs with excellent customer service.
• Care management duties
• Stocking supplies
• Must be able to multitask and take initiative to work with little supervision. Must be a TEAM player!
