Join a collaborative surgical services team at a well-respected hospital in Columbus, Indiana, just 45 minutes south of Indianapolis. This full-time, permanent role offers a consistent weekday schedule, strong benefits, and a patient-first culture in the OR.
🏥 Certified Surgical Technologist – OR Focus
- Assist in transporting patients to and from the surgical department
- Perform advanced first assist duties as trained (closing, injecting, placing drains, etc.)
- Prepare rooms and drape equipment in a sterile fashion
- Support surgeons during procedures with efficient, anticipatory assistance
- Handle instruments, sharps, and sponge counts before, during, and after procedures
- Decontaminate, sterilize, and correctly package instruments and operate autoclaves
- Educate and orient others on instrument use and OR standards
- Act as backup for Surgery Supply Tech roles as needed
✅ Requirements
- Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program or military equivalent
- CST certification (or eligibility within 6 months)
- CSA or CSFA certification must be maintained
- BLS certification required
