We’re Hiring: Resale & Residential Sales Representatives – Minnesota

This is not your typical desk job — you’ll be out in the field connecting with homeowners, strengthening relationships with existing ADT customers, and helping protect families with our trusted security solutions.

As a Resale & Residential Sales Representative, you’ll focus on reactivating discontinued systems, upgrading products, and driving new growth by building trust with customers across your territory.

Pay Structure: W2 commission-based role
Earnings: New Advisors typically make $80K–$100K in their first year, while experienced reps often make $150K+. Includes a paid training wage of up to $4,000 during your first 8 weeks.

✅ Background with in-home or door-to-door sales (solar, roofing, remodeling, pest control, or security) is a plus but not required. Many of our top performers came from different industries.

What Your Schedule Looks Like:
The most successful advisors treat this as a full-time career, typically working 11 AM – 8 PM to maximize results.
• Mornings (11–3): Admin tasks, training, follow-ups, scheduling, and prospecting.
• Afternoons & Evenings (3–8): Field sales, door knocking, in-home presentations, and closing deals when homeowners are most available.

While flexibility exists, those who commit to this schedule consistently find themselves among the highest earners.

Key Responsibilities:
• Re-engage past ADT customers and present upgrade/reactivation solutions
• Generate leads and maximize outreach with creative prospecting
• Deliver engaging sales presentations that highlight ADT’s advantages
• Manage work orders and documentation accurately
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups and generate referrals
• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication
