Our new location is searching for a fast learner looking to grow. This is not a "job"; it's a career path.
A good candidate will have a basic electronics and mechanical repair background, along with warehouse experience. You will oversee the repair, maintenance, and shipping of safety equipment for your local branch. If you love to tinker with fixing engines, electronics, radios, etc, this could be a great position for you. Formal experience is NOT required. We are looking for bright folks willing to learn and be trained to start a career.
MIUST HAVE:
- Basic electronic and mechanical repair (i.e. change a car battery, replace a bike tire, install a video card on a PC)
- Shipping & Receiving experience
- Order Tracking
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office and basic computing skills
- Understand basic computer hardware and networking
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Solid organizational skills
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Rental/Service duties
· Responsible for the deployment and service of rental and service equipment to customers
· Maintain, organize, and ensure correct stock
· Prep, ship orders, and assist with customer inquiries
· Participates in monthly assigned cycle counts of rental and service items.
· Helps maintain quality control (QC) for all equipment
· Maintains a safe and organized facility and adheres to company policies and procedures
Bench repair duties:
· Conducted preventative maintenance and repairs of instruments and assets
· Perform testing and quality assurance of new and repaired items
· Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production/shipping schedules daily
· Recommend Improvements on production, equipment performance and logistics
· Work with outside departments and supervisors to address needs and improvements
