Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory disorders under physician direction
- Administer respiratory therapies and medications as prescribed
- Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests
- Manage ventilators and airway care for critically ill patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans
- Maintain patient records with accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and therapies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required from the Florida Board of Respiratory Care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory
- Preferred certifications include Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Ability to work every other weekend and holidays that fall on scheduled shifts
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Holiday shifts aligned with regular schedule
