Kids by the Bunch is a privately owned and operated Early Learning Childcare Center proudly serving families in the Syosset community. We provide high-quality care and education for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years throughout the school year and offer an exciting Summer Camp program for children ages 5 to 12.
As our center continues to grow, we are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dependable Teacher Assistant to join our team of dedicated early childhood professionals. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to make a meaningful impact every day.
Responsibilities
As a Teacher Assistant, you will:
- Support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities, routines, and lesson implementation
- Help provide attentive care and nurturing support to infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Participate in hands-on learning activities, play experiences, and classroom projects
- Assist with transitions, meals, rest time, and other daily routines
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
- Communicate professionally and warmly with families about their child's day
Qualifications
The ideal Teacher Assistant will:
