Transportation Engineer minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design. Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.
- PE license in WI.
- Knowledge of WisDOT design and standards is highly preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage.
- Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
Transportation Engineer responsibilities include:
- Project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process.
- Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management.
- The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
- Project engineering and management.
- Professional society involvement.
