Who You Are

You are pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. You are eager to learn how to read electrical blueprints, perform detailed electrical takeoffs, and understand the cost structure behind electrical design. You are known for your attention to detail, strong time management, and professional, positive attitude in everything you do.

What We Are Looking For

Were seeking an Electrical Estimating Intern whos ready to gain hands-on experience and become part of a dedicated, high-performing team. This 12-week internship begins at the conclusion of the spring semester and runs Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

The Ideal Candidate Is Someone With:

  • The capability to learn and understand electrical construction drawings.
  • The ability to assist Electrical Estimators with:
    • Performing takeoffs in Bluebeam (Bluebeam training provided)
    • Evaluating data in Excel (Excel training provided)
    • Applying pricing data from Remarkable (Remarkable training provided)
    • Entering data in Accubid Anywhere (basic Accubid training provided)
    • Assisting in the aggregation of change order data
    • Participating in weekly team meetings
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Personal accountability and a desire to drive measurable results.
  • The ability to quickly identify issues and collaborate with the team to resolve them.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with team members.
  • A growth-oriented mindset, showing curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to take on challenges beyond assigned tasks.
