About the Role

We're hiring Pickleball Coaches to lead private lessons and group clinics for players of all ages and skill levels-from first-time players to seasoned regulars.
This is a commission-based role, with pay tied directly to the number of lessons and clinic participants you teach. The more you coach, the more you earn.

What You'll Do

• Coach 1-hour private pickleball lessons (1:1)
• Lead small group lessons for 2–4 players
• Run beginner clinics in a structured small-group format (up to 12 players)
• Teach fundamentals and game strategy, including serving, positioning, volleys, and when to stay out of the kitchen
• Adjust coaching style to meet players where they are-from brand-new beginners to experienced players refining their game
• Support pickleball-focused events, parties, and corporate outings as needed, helping lead instruction, organized play, or hosted experiences
• Create a fun, welcoming, high-energy experience that reflects the Kraken brand
• Work within our established lesson and clinic schedule (currently offered Wednesday–Saturday)
• Ensure players have everything they need to have fun and learn

Qualifications

• Strong pickleball background (competitive or high-level recreational)
• Prior coaching or teaching experience (pickleball preferred; tennis or racquet sports a plus)
• Comfortable leading both private sessions and small groups
• Clear communicator with a positive, engaging coaching style
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable interacting with guests in social and event-based environments
