Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse for a per diem assignment in Golden, CO. This role supports adult orthopedic and pain management procedures requiring Phase I recovery following general anesthesia. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, detail-oriented, and able to provide safe, efficient post-anesthesia care.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and manage patients recovering from general anesthesia in Phase I PACU

Assess airway patency, hemodynamic stability, pain control, and neurological status

Administer medications and interventions per PACU protocols
-
Identify and respond promptly to post-anesthesia complications
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
-
Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and perioperative staff
-
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and readiness for transfer or discharge
Requirements

Active Colorado RN License
-
BLS and ACLS Certifications

PACU RN Skills Assessment

Background Check

Colorado Adult Protective Services Clearance

Valid Driver's License
