DO YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR PEDIATRIC PHYSICAL THERAPIST - PT ROLE?
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university
- Pediatric Physical therapy training and/or experience
- Neurodevelopmental Treatment training and/or Sensory Integration certification is preferred
- Washington State Professional license through the Washington State Department of Health
- Valid Washington State driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current personal liability insurance
- A clean WA State driving record, as defined by HRC's agency insurance policy
- CPR/1st Aid certification or or ability to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment
WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A FULL- OR PART-TIME PEDIATRIC PHYSICAL THERAPIST - PT?
Your role includes reviewing your individualized plans, ensuring each child's care is personalized and aligned with their IFSP goals. You travel to the child's natural environment, such as homes and daycares, where you assess motor function, neuromuscular status, and sensory integration. You engage families as partners in care, helping them understand each step of the process, from adaptive play suggestions to equipment recommendations. Whether it's documenting progress, collaborating with other professionals, or simply offering a listening ear to a parent, your day is defined by thoughtful connection and skilled intervention. You contribute to IFSP meetings, stay current through trainings, and maintain licensure-always keeping your focus on what matters most: supporting every child's potential.
