Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Join Wales in the Bronx as a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in adult medicine. We are seeking a passionate Spanish-speaking professional to provide exceptional care to our diverse community, enhancing access to quality healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of adult patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform routine physical examinations and health screenings.
• Manage chronic conditions and provide patient education on health maintenance.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records.
• Provide culturally competent care to Spanish-speaking patients.
• Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities.

Requirements:

• Current NP or PA license in New York State.
• Experience in adult medicine or primary care preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is required for effective communication.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Flexible schedule with availability for part-time hours.
