Job Description Make an impact where precision meets purpose
At Pall Corporation, part of Danaher, we help customers protect critical assets and advance technologies that touch everyday life — from aircraft engines to smartphones. United by a culture of belonging and continuous improvement through the Danaher Business System, we turn ideas into real-world results.
A day in the life
On our Timonium, MD production floor, you arrive to a concise handoff with Operations. You’ll walk the line of automated and semi-automated equipment, reviewing CMMS work orders and starting your predictive checks. A pneumatic actuator sounds off — you dive into root-cause analysis, verify sensor signals, adjust calibration, and return the cell to spec. Before lunch, you machine a small bracket to support a guarding improvement. In the afternoon, you document your work accurately in CMMS, collaborate with Production and Engineering on a recurring hydraulic issue, and finish by setting up and testing a mechanical assembly for tomorrow’s run. All day long, Environmental Health & Safety and Quality expectations guide your decisions.
What you’ll do
- Keep automated and semi-automated manufacturing assets running through predictive and preventive maintenance across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment performance in a continuous production environment, partnering closely with Production, Engineering, Facilities, and contractors.
- Fabricate and machine parts as needed to support reliability and safety upgrades.
