Job SummaryWe are seeking a caring Veterinarian Technician&nbsp;to join the team at our successful veterinary clinic. Veterinary Assistant responsibilities include: answering phones,&nbsp; assisting the Veterinarian with surgeries, dentistries, and procedures, obtaining vitals, and monitoring animal recovery. You will work closely with the entire clinic staff to ensure the health and well-being of all of our pet patients. <li>Obtain a patient history</li>
<li>Take vitals</li>
<li>Perform gentle animal restraint</li>
<li>Obtain samples/run in-house bloodwork and fecals</li>
<li>Prepare pets for surgeries and monitor animals after surgery</li>
<li>Administer medications and provide at-home dosage instructions for clients</li>
<li>Scheduling/Greet customers&nbsp;</li>
<li>Contact pet parents for followups&nbsp;</li>
<li>Take payments</li>
<li>Sanitize clinic/Laundry</li>
<li>Must be able to work Saturdays</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician</li>
<li>Knowledge of animal care and handling</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task and remain organized&nbsp;</li>
<li>Patience and a love for animals</li>
