Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity in Rapid City, South Dakota, is seeking dedicated candidates ready to serve K-12 students in a vibrant school district nestled near the scenic Black Hills, just a short drive from Mount Rushmore. This full-semester, contract position offers full-time hours with part-time options available, providing flexibility based on your availability.

Responsibilities include delivering speech and language therapy services to students ranging from elementary through high school. Collaboration with a supportive team is central to this role, including working alongside four Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) who provide valuable support. Daily work hours are approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., totaling 37.5 hours per week for full-time, with 2-3 days per week available for part-time roles. This position requires in-person commitment, allowing for direct interaction and hands-on support of students communication needs.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Certification relevant to speech-language pathology (SLP - CCC, CFY) and experience within healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, or school settings
  • Experience working with diverse student populations across elementary to high school levels
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPAs and school staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive, supportive environment
  • Comfort working in-person within a school setting
