Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, testing, and improvement of electrical systems used in our electromechanical actuators. This role involves hands-on engineering, troubleshooting, and collaboration with mechanical and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical circuits, wiring harnesses, and control systems for actuator products.
  • Create and update schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, and data analysis.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues in development and production units.
  • Assist in component selection (motors, drivers, sensors, connectors, PCBs).
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability and product reliability.
  • Develop test procedures and support electrical quality checks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of electrical design or testing experience in a manufacturing or product development environment.
  • Knowledge of analog/digital circuits, motor control, sensors, and power electronics.
  • Experience with CAD and schematic tools (Altium, OrCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, etc.).
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
  • Proficient with electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, analyzers).
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with actuators or motion control systems.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems or PLC controls.
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC design considerations.
  • Background in reliability or design-for-manufacturing.
