Part-Time On-Site Technical Support and Customer Service Representative – Maple Grove, MN

Job description

Schedule: Part-Time (4 to 5 hours per day)
Location: Maple Grove, MN (On-Site Only)
Job Type: Part-Time

Training:

  • Fixed schedule: 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday
  • Duration: 2 to 3 weeks
  • Training is in person and mandatory
  • Post-training: Flexible part-time shifts available within business hours (7:30 AM – 8:00 PM)

Job Summary:
Masterson Staffing Solutions is hiring Part-Time Technical Customer Service Representatives for a respected client in Maple Grove, MN. This is an on-site position (not remote) and a great opportunity for individuals seeking part-time hours with structured training and flexible scheduling after completion.

You will be the first point of contact for clients, offering guidance and resolving technical issues related to test administration, setup, application use, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming client calls and inquiries
  • Troubleshoot technical and policy-related concerns
  • Resolve open cases efficiently using internal tools
  • Meet customer service and quality standards (call time, hold time, satisfaction)
  • Escalate critical or recurring issues to the appropriate team

Training Details:

  • Duration: 2 to 3 weeks
  • Hours: 4 hours per day (Monday to Friday)
  • Daily topic-based assessments must be passed to continue
  • Final certification test is required to complete training

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 6 months of technical support or customer service experience

(Internship or college-level experience accepted)

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer use
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Must attend and complete 2-3 weeks of classroom training (4hrs a day)
  • Each day of training includes a specific topic and a test that must be passed to progress
  • A final test is administered at the end of training to certify your knowledge of systems and procedures
  • Report to work promptly as scheduled and adhere to all conduct expectations
  • Able to accept supervision and apply feedback to improve performance
  • Able to collaborate effectively and respectfully with diverse teams
  • Consistently maintain performance under pressure and during high-volume periods
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
  • Able to use a computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse for prolonged periods
