Your Impact
As the Oregon Regional Water Works Sales Manager, you will set direction, build capability, and ensure execution across our Water Works sales organization.
You will:
- Lead and develop outside sales teams in Tigard, Salem, Eugene, and Bend
- Create and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals
- Establish sales plans, performance targets, and operating procedures
- Coach and develop high-performing sales professionals in a culture of accountability
- Partner with branch leadership to drive coordinated growth efforts
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and vendor partners
- Oversee regional sales and marketing alignment to maximize market penetration
- Monitor performance metrics and guide teams toward achieving revenue and margin objectives
- Travel regularly across the territory to support teams and customers
This is a role for a leader who enjoys both strategic oversight and field engagement, turning plans into measurable results while developing a high-performing team.
Location & Regional Scope
This role is ideally based in Tigard, Oregon, positioning you in the Portland metro area, the central hub for business operations, infrastructure growth, and regional connectivity. From this base, you will provide leadership and support across our Oregon Water Works operations, with regular travel to Salem, Eugene, Bend, and surrounding markets. The territory spans urban development, municipal infrastructure, and expanding communities, offering meaningful opportunities for strategic growth and team impact.
What Makes You Successful
We’re looking for a strategic leader who understands both the business and the people side of sales management.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of successful sales management in a Water Works wholesale distribution environment
- Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial leadership approach
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop sales teams
- Track record of building high-performance, high-accountability cultures
- Excellent communication, investigative, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Experience managing complex customer relationships
- Strong planning, prioritization, and follow-through skills
- Proficient with business software including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel extensively within the region
