About the Role
Excelsior Media is a Reno, Nevada-based production company with over 20 years of continuous operation. We produce high-quality, narrative-driven video content for subscription platforms within a structured, professional environment focused on consistency and technical execution.
We are seeking a skilled Videographer/Editor to join our in-house team. This is a hands-on role responsible for the full production lifecycle, from on-set capture through final delivery.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within a process-driven system where expectations are clear and output is consistent. This is a full-time, on-site role in Reno, NV.
What You'll Do
- Manage all technical aspects of video shoots, including camera setup, lighting, audio capture, and on-set technical execution
- Direct on-screen talent and scenes to achieve the desired creative vision and narrative objectives
- Assemble and edit raw footage in Adobe Premiere Pro, creating compelling rough and final cuts
- Enhance edits with sound desisng, motion graphics, and color grading to ensure a high-quality final product
- Collaborate with the production team, incorporating feedback to refine edits via Frame.io
- Transcode and prepare final video products for web delivery, ensuring all technical specifications and metadata are correct
- Maintain a high standard of efficiency and consistency across both production and post-production workflows
What You'll Bring

3+ years of professional experience in videography and non-linear editing

A strong portfolio showcasing your filming and editing work is required

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (or similer NLE system) and a deep understanding of post-production workflows (color, audio, motion)

Hands-on experience with professional cinema cameras, lighting, and audio gear (experience with Canon Cinema, Arri, Aputure is a plus)

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience

Experience working in a structured production environment is strongly preferred

Our Production Environment
We operate with professional-grade production equipment and a consistent, in-house workflow. Our toolkit includes Canon cinema systems, DJI drone platforms, and advanced lighting setups using Arri and Aputure fixtures.
Post-production is handled on dedicated Mac Studio workstations, allowing for efficient, high-volume output without compromising quality.
