JOB TITLE: Aluminum Foundry Production Worker
LOCATION: Saranac, MI

JOB OVERVIEW:
In this role, you will be responsible for the production and casting of aluminum within our foundry. This includes operating machinery, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring product quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate foundry equipment and machinery to cast aluminum.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work in a hot and physically demanding environment
- Good communications skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and front-end loaders, or a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience NOT required but is a plus!

SHIFT/HOURS:
We offer two available shifts to accommodate different schedules:
- DAY SHIFT: 6am-6pm
- NIGHT SHIFT: 6pm-6am
Our team follows a 2-3-2 rotating schedule, which means:
- You will work 2 days, then have 2 days off.
- After that, you will work for 3 days, followed by 2 days off.
- Then you will work for another 2 days and have 3 days off before the cycle repeats.
The rotating schedule allows for a balanced work life rhythm and regular time off.
COMPENSATION:
- Base Pay: $20.00 per hour.
- Regular Overtime Schedule: Our 2-3-2 rotating schedule means that one week you will work 36 hours and the following you work 48 hours. On the weeks you work 48 hours, you will receive overtime pay (time and a half) for the additional 8 hours.
This routine ensures that every other week you have built-in opportunities for overtime and extra earnings.
