Job DescriptionSalary:

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) to contribute to building the field Sales opportunity pipeline. This role will achieve this by reaching out to and communicating with business leaders/decision makers in C-suite, information technology, and other senior roles in mid to large enterprise companies within key industries that DataXstream serves.

Using a variety of research methods, lead generation best practices and tools, the candidate will be responsible for crafting personalized and well-researched communications such as emails, social media engagement, personalized connection requests, as well as conducting regular outbound calls.

The ideal candidate needs to be a goal-driven personality, have a hunter mindset with prior corporate B2B sales development experience. The SDR must be comfortable prospecting to and engaging in conversations with high-level decision makers to discover, learn about a prospect's business needs, challenges, either with existing order management platforms and/or upcoming high-level initiatives, and encourage the prospect to continue conversations with a field Account Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and clearly articulate the DataXstream value proposition and solutions.
  • Generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) for new accounts to contribute to the sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Leverage CRM, intent and other data sources and tools to identify, pursue, and conduct prospecting calls.
  • Leverage data and account insights to identify, pursue and connect with prospects, conduct in depth discovery calls to determine need and willingness to have further discussions with Sales.
  • Build and maintain a prospect sales pipeline within our HubSpot CRM system and continuously add and develop new prospect accounts within your assigned target accounts, territory or defined scope.
  • Follows and adheres to defined Sales Development prospecting methodology, processes and CRM best practices.
  • Utilize exceptional time management and organization skills.
  • Effectively prioritize and respond to inbound leads, demo requests or customer inquiries in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Communicationsand/or a minimum of 2+ years of corporate business-to-business sales development experience within the SaaS and/or technology industry.
  • A strong desire and proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales development goals/targets and converting leads into Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL).
  • Knowledge of the Sales Development process and best practices.
  • Experience working with or representing complex software solutions in a Sales Development role or environment.
  • Experience working with HubSpot CRM or similar platform.
