As the BSA Officer at One Community Bank, you will take charge of the comprehensive administration and effectiveness of our Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT) compliance program. This pivotal role ensures that our institution upholds a robust, risk-based BSA/AML framework while adhering to both federal and state regulations, all in alignment with the Bank’s objectives. You will provide essential leadership in developing and implementing policies, conducting enterprise-wide risk assessments, and managing the BSA/AML team to drive their growth and performance. By overseeing suspicious activity monitoring and maintaining effective due diligence processes, you'll act as a key liaison with regulators and auditors, ensuring our compliance efforts are thorough and responsive to regulatory changes.

Your leadership will foster a strong culture of compliance, making a tangible difference in mitigating risk and supporting the bank’s mission.

What matters most

To excel as the BSA Officer at One Community Bank, a combination of technical knowledge and strong leadership skills is essential. A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or a related field, coupled with over five years of experience in BSA/AML compliance within a financial institution, lays the foundation for success in this role. In-depth knowledge of regulations such as BSA, AML, OFAC, and requirements for Customer Identification Program (CIP) and due diligence (CDD/EDD) is critical.

Demonstrated management experience, ideally for at least three years, will help you lead and mentor your team effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary for preparing reports and engaging with regulators and auditors. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications will facilitate your daily tasks and reporting processes.
