We are seeking a () to support the enhancement and execution of the client’s business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) program. This individual will play a pivotal role in creating and evaluating disaster recovery plans, business impact analysis (BIA) documentation, gathering and analyzing business priorities, identifying service criticality, recovery objectives, and establishing a DR framework in accordance with industry best practices. 1. Establish and Enhance the Disaster Recovery Program
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current Client BCDR program, identifying gaps and developing a detailed remediation
plan.
• Partner with senior management to allocate appropriate resources, funding, and timelines to support program success.
• Lead IT functional teams in developing comprehensive disaster recovery (DR) test plans, defining test objectives, procedures, and success criteria.
• Design and execute realistic DR test scenarios that simulate potential disaster events and operational disruptions.
• Clearly define roles and responsibilities for all personnel involved in DR planning, testing, and execution.
• Develop and maintain a recurring DR testing schedule to ensure plans remain accurate, current, and effective.
• Document all testing activities, including procedures, observations, findings, and corrective actions.
• Establish repeatable DR testing environments and ensure documentation consistency across all technical teams.
• Update organizational policies and procedures to ensure accountability and alignment with BCDR responsibilities.

2. Review and Maintain Disaster Recovery Documentation
• Develop, review, and manage disaster recovery documentation for systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate information, close documentation gaps, and maintain DR readiness.

3. Facilitate and Manage Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
• Define BIA objectives, scope, and business process dependencies within a standardized BIA template.
• Lead the information-gathering process through interviews, surveys, and workshops with business stakeholders.
• Develop, review, and maintain BIA documentation to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and recovery objectives.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication
• Serve as a liaison between IT, business units, and leadership to align recovery priorities and ensure effective communication.
• Prepare and present detailed reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

5. Industry Best Practices and Continuous Improvement
• Stay current on BCDR standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34, FFIEC).
• Provide strategic recommendations for program enhancements and process improvements aligned with industry best practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, promoting a culture of resilience and operational preparedness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Business Continuity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or risk management, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
• Proven experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide BCDR frameworks and conducting DR tests.
• Strong knowledge of BIA methodologies, IT recovery processes, and crisis management principles.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CBCP, MBCI, ITIL, CISSP).
