Job DescriptionEndocrinology Physician Opportunity

We are excited to invite applications for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist to join our well-established, multispecialty practice, recognized nationally for excellence in diabetes care. Our locations include Monroe and East Brunswick, NJ.

Position Overview

  • Schedule: 3 days per week in Monroe; 2 days per week in East Brunswick
  • Clinical Hours: 40 hours of clinical work plus 2 hours of administrative duties each day
  • Call Responsibilities: Light call rotation (1 week at a time, approximately 7-8 weeks annually); 1-2 holiday coverages per year

Practice Environment

This role is primarily outpatient-focused, with minimal inpatient responsibilities supported by a dedicated hospitalist team available 24/7. Our practice has a rich history of 15-20 years, providing a balanced caseload with an established patient panel and consistent referrals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage disorders of the endocrine system, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, and reproductive issues
  • Perform comprehensive examinations, including reviewing patient histories, conducting physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests such as blood tests, imaging, and biopsies
  • Create personalized treatment plans, which may include prescribing medications, recommending lifestyle modifications, and discussing surgical options when appropriate
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatments based on their health status and responses
  • Educate patients on managing chronic endocrine conditions, such as diabetes or thyroid disorders, and provide guidance on hormone therapy

  • Strong diagnostic and clinical abilities, particularly in managing chronic conditions like diabetes and thyroid disorders

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a residency in internal medicine
  • Completion of a fellowship in endocrinology
  • Board certification or eligibility in endocrinology

The full-time compensation for this position ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, influenced by various factors such as specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative roles, and established metrics on productivity, patient engagement, and quality.
