ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the installation, maintenance, integration, and communication of Salesforce applications. The role will span all aspects of administration and support including but not limited to; researching, configuring applications; unit testing; user access management and data maintenance. The Salesforce administrator performs daily oversight and activities related to the maintenance and administration of the Salesforce JRM platform.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Maintain salesforce to meet the needs of the college. Keep the institution informed on salesforce updates and releases.
  1. Provide day-to-day end-user support for Salesforce and added applications, including system configuration and maintenance.
  1. Build and maintain Salesforce custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, dashboards, student imports, and reports required.

4. Serve as the institution’s point of contact with Salesforce support and internally for all salesforce related projects, initiatives and workflows.

  1. Proactively identify opportunities that exist within Salesforce to help advance enrollment initiatives.
  1. Lead data quality efforts through automation, reporting, and audits.
  1. Support user adoption and satisfaction by working with end-users to develop/ deliver best practices, tips, documentation, and training materials
  1. Research, recommend, install, and manage App Exchange solutions to meet business requirements.
  1. Completes a daily/weekly distribution of reports related to all aspects of the student life-cycle, including but not limited to student stages, recruitment territories, programmatic performance, etc.
  1. Maintain the integrity of salesforce data; ensure accuracy of data, develop error reports, and fix data errors and inconsistencies.
  1. Documents customizations made within Salesforce. Develop and maintain user guides and standard operating procedures.
  1. Proactive system maintenance including; Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer.
  1. Works alongside marketing, ad agencies, and web developer to ensure student lifecycle is tracked appropriately.
  1. Provides customer support to departments utilizing Salesforce and related applications.
  1. Actively reviews and monitors reported incidents and defects. Coordinates investigation, resolution and documents results.
  1. Analyzes industry trends for Salesforce and assesses their feasibility with the college’s use of the system.
  1. Recognizes upstream and downstream impacts and develop solutions.
  1. Adheres to PTO blackout dates as outlined within the enrollment department to minimize impact on enrollment performance.
  1. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Baccalaureate degree required.

EXPERIENCE:

  1. Experience in Salesforce required.
  2. Certified Salesforce Administrator preferred.
