Handyman – Weekly Pay – Immediate Hiring
Location: Minneapolis / St. Paul Metro Area, Minnesota
Pay: $28–$32/hour (Higher pay based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time
Career Strategies is actively hiring an experienced Handyman for a full-time opportunity in the Minneapolis / St. Paul Metro area. We are seeking a reliable and skilled professional with strong general repair experience who can complete maintenance tasks, apartment turns, and property upkeep while maintaining quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable handling multiple repair projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Complete general repair and maintenance work throughout residential properties
- Perform plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance repairs
- Respond to and complete maintenance work orders efficiently
- Assist with apartment turns and make-ready responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace fixtures, doors, locks, cabinets, and hardware
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine repair solutions
- Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Maintain grounds, common areas, and overall property appearance
- Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and management teams
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards
Qualifications
- 1+ year of handyman, maintenance technician, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or residential maintenance experience required
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance repair
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Apartment maintenance experience preferred
- EPA or HVAC certifications are a plus but not required
