About the role Golden Racket Academy is hiring a Private Pickleball Coach to deliver 1-on-1 and small-group lessons at local courts and client-preferred locations in Loxahatchee and surrounding areas (including Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, and Greenacres).

With the explosive growth of the sport, we currently have an active roster of clients waiting in the area. If you are tired of community centers taking a massive cut or chasing down your own leads on crowded public courts, this role is built for you. We serve premium clients who care about coaching quality, clear communication, and a consistent experience. You bring the coaching and leadership on the court; we handle the operations, marketing, and client flow.

What you'll do

• Coach private and small-group pickleball lessons for mixed ages and levels.
• Provide individualized feedback on technique, movement, and strategy (e.g., dinking, third-shot drops, court positioning).
• Create simple lesson plans tailored to each student's goals.
• Communicate clearly with clients about lesson logistics (location, time, expectations).
• Show up on time, prepared, and ready to lead a high-quality session.

What we're looking for (must have)

• 1+ years of coaching experience (pickleball or tennis coaching welcome).
• Strong pickleball fundamentals and the ability to teach them clearly.
• Professional, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
• Reliable transportation for local travel in the Loxahatchee area.
• Comfortable coaching adults, seniors, and juniors.
• Able to pass a background check (required for client trust).

Nice to have (not required)

• CPR certification or recognized coaching credentials (PPR, IPTPA, etc.).
• DUPR rating or competitive tournament experience.
• Ability to bring extra paddles and balls for beginners.

Pay and structure

• Up to $55/hr, based on experience and coaching level.
• This is an independent contractor coaching role (1099).
• Flexible scheduling based on client demand and your availability.
• We vet the clients and guarantee your payouts. No chasing down Venmo payments or dealing with flaky cancellations.
