Housekeepers are an essential part of the Stroudsmoor Country Inn Team. Housekeepers tend to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail, creating a clean and orderly environment for our guests, maintaining and strengthening our reputation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleans rooms in a timely manner
- Cleans common areas of the Main Inn in a timely manner
- Cleans indoor pool and Fitness Center
- Provides quality guest services
- Has complete resort knowledge
- Reports maintenance problems to the Housekeeping Manager
- Delivers all “found” items to the Front Desk
- Communicates with the Front Desk concerning guests who violate the Pet/Smoking Policy
- Follows the guidelines of the Employee Handbook
- Follows the guidelines set forth by the Safety Committee
- Adheres to the Gratuity Policy
- Works as part of a TEAM
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience
- Understanding of chemicals
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
- Schedules will be determined on a monthly basis – hours will be determined by the event schedule
- Weekends and holidays required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
- Reaches with hands and arms;
- Climb or balance; bend; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl;
- Talk; or hear.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- Frequently lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.
