Job Description:
A professional services consulting firm in Washington, DC is seeking a Recruiter to own the full recruitment lifecycle across a range of roles. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers, build out candidate pipelines, and guide the hiring process from initial outreach through offer acceptance and onboarding. The ideal candidate brings strong instincts for evaluating talent, works well under pressure, and can juggle multiple requisitions without losing momentum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured, competency-based interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit
- Facilitate post-interview debriefs with hiring managers and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the selection process
- Build and sustain robust candidate networks and talent pipelines to support both immediate and future hiring needs
- Own end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles and departments within the organization
- Leverage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage requisitions and provide ongoing support and guidance to hiring managers
- Oversee all stages of the candidate experience, including screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination
Qualifications:
- 3–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within a fast-paced or matrixed organization
- At least 1 year of high-volume recruitment experience
- Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment best practices
- Proficiency with ATS platforms, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build relationships at all levels
- Comfortable managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines in a pressured environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Additional Details:
This is a fully onsite contract position in Washington, DC, anticipated to run 4–6 months. Candidates should be local and available for a standard Monday–Friday schedule.
